SEEK-ART CONCEPT, DESIGN, AND CONTENT DIRECTED BY MICHELE THURSZ

SEEK-ART.com -The symbolic facing E’s found in SEEK-ART represent a court, where an action of exchange or conversation begins.  The site consists of Portfolios, Lab, Dialogs, My Collection, Events and News, and a shop. I developed this company under the idea of the concept as a fluid medium, and art as inspiration for the individual, society, and commercial industries. This concept argues, the idea of a comprehensive network and "All information is created equal." My idea was to make a label much like a record label. An idea that I have been working with since founding Moving Image Gallery, and the evolution of A Post Media Network.

MOVING IMAGE GALLERY -

A POST MEDIA NETWORK 1.0 1999 -2010

Concept, and Directed by Michele Thursz

A post-media network is a concept and platform for disseminating information.

Post-media represents the merger of the physical and virtual landscape, and the network is composed of artists, designers, philosophers, and a crosssection of cultural and lifestyle industries. The projects focus on the different perspectives and uses of conceptual, electronic, and computer-based mediums.

Post Media is an action demonstrating the continuous evolution of the term and uses of media. The network refers to the actions of collaboration, representation, and the marketable utilization of all media.

Moving Image Gallery ( MIG): The gallery was founded in a networked structure of collaboration with individual and group projects. The gallery is a physical and a virtual environment both are portals to reflect back on each other. The name, Moving Image Gallery, refers to the terms and actions of participation, collaboration, and education as they apply to the interaction made possible in the utilization of the new communication platforms. MIG is an interface allowing for the realization of a perpetually changing set of interactions and transformations involving artists, institutions, and virtual and real environments. In this complex of interactions, the institution of the "exhibition" acts as a necessary component by encapsulating the evolution of technology as it relates to art and modern societies.

The Beijing Remix collection is a new media project in which S/N Coalition remixed the urban landscape of Beijing during RAZE 2012. The remixes are video/sound-hybrids, which visually feature street art and sonically feature various neighborhoods, transportation systems and markets. 15 remixes were installed back into the cityscape via QR-Codes

Totemobile is a robotic sculpture is a representation of the culturally iconic Citroën DS automobile. It elaborats through various levels of abstraction until it reaches its final form: an organic 20-meter-tall totem pole. Upon reaching its full height, the work blooms with light, in the form of multiple organically-inspired inflatable sculptures suggesting the final maturation of an enormous biological organism.
